Logo Identity Case Study
An illustrative baseball identity built around the meeting point of tradition and technology. The final system combines recognizable baseball imagery with circuit board details to communicate a modern approach to player development.
Logo Type: Illustrative Logo

Original Sketch
The project began on paper, exploring how baseball, player development and technology could live inside one recognizable mark. Early sketches tested banners, home plate shapes, baseball elements and circuit inspired details before the design moved into digital development.

Concept Development
Several concepts were pushed forward before the final mark was selected. Each direction explored a different balance of baseball tradition, movement, typography and technology.

Additional badge and banner explorations developed from the original sketch language.

The home plate construction became the strongest foundation. Crossed bats and a baseball made the sport immediate, while the circuit board pattern inside the plate gave the identity its training and technology distinction.
Color Exploration
Three color systems were developed to see how the mark could shift in tone while keeping the same core structure. The final palette leans into baseball red, deep navy and metallic gray for a professional athletic feel.

Complete Logo System
The finished identity combines a baseball, crossed bats and home plate with a circuit board pattern that turns the plate into a visual metaphor for modern training. The mark was then prepared in full color and single color formats for flexible use.

Identity In Practice
The visual system was extended into business stationery and card concepts so the baseball and technology language could stay consistent across everyday brand touchpoints.
